Website to help bullying victims
Bullying being acted out
The website aims to help people share their stories of bullying
A new project is being set up to help Plymouth people who are the victims of bullying.

Bullythis.com is an internet website which aims to help people share their stories and give them access to advice.

The website was started by Plymouth man Ryan McMinn, who has used his own experiences of bullying.

He said: "I read stories in the papers about children have committed suicide which really touched me.

"I have a great passion for children and bullying because I was bullied as a child, right from the time I started to when I finished."

Little help

Mr McMinn said that when he was a child there was very little help available, so he decided to try to help adults and children in Plymouth by setting up the website.

The website is still being developed, but it will eventually have separate advice pages for adults and children, space for them to explain their problems and links to other organisations and web pages which can help them.

Mr McMinn said the public perceived bullying as a problem affecting schoolchildren, but many adults were also bullied both at work and home.
