Youngsters from across the county will have their voices heard in a special session of the UK's Youth Parliament.About 100 representatives will meet at Exeter City Football Ground to discuss the results of a recent survey into what is important to Devon's youth.
The views of thousands of Devon youngsters are being registered at the event, which is called the "Big Voice".
It has been organised by members of the county's Youth Parliament.
Two representatives from every secondary school in the region have been gauging pupils views.
During the day delegates will take part in a variety of workshops focusing on UK and international matters, a better society, health and the environment.
A spokesperson for Devon County Council, which supports the initiative, said: "It's important for young people to be involved in debates about issues affecting their lives.
"They are the decision-makers of tomorrow".
The UK Youth Parliament said: "Our objectives are to give young people of the UK, who are under the age of 18, a representative national voice which will be listened to by the government, political parties and service providers."
