Football fans facing smoking ban
Derby County football club is banning smoking on the concourses at Pride Park, following trials.

Supporters who smoke will now have to take their cigarettes outside the stadium at half-time to specially designated areas.

There has been no smoking on the terraces at Pride Park since the stadium opened in 1997.

The smoking areas outside the ground will be controlled by stewards and officials from the ground.

The club is now hoping food and drink can be sold on the concourse instead.
