| Armed police were called to a supermarket in Derbyshire after staff were threatened with a gun. Workers at Tesco on Waverley Street in Long Eaton had approached a group of youths who were misbehaving. They then saw what they described to officers as a handgun during the incident on Tuesday evening. A Derbyshire Police spokesperson said three people were later arrested in the Kirk Hallam area. A BB gun was also recovered by officers.
