Police target speeding motorists
Extra police officers are being drafted in to parts of Derbyshire over the next four weeks to target speeding drivers at accident hot spots.

Officers will use cameras and laser guns in the Derbyshire Dales and High Peak areas.

Police have also chosen locations where members of the public have raised concerns about speeding.

The head of Community Safety, Inspector Tony Dales, said motorists need to be more careful.

"We have more people about in the summer holidays, more cars about because of tourists, and if everyone takes a little more time the roads will be safer."
