Rare find 'should stay in Derby'
A treasure hunter who discovered a rare belt buckle with his metal detector wants it to remain at Derby.

Historian Robert Cashmore, from Quarndon, Derbyshire, found the gold belt buckle mount in a field in Newton Solney.

The buckle, believed to be from the 5th Century, is being valued by experts at the British Museum.

Derby Museum has said it want to buy the artefact and Mr Cashmore said that is where it belongs.
