Derbyshire County Council is looking for teenage politicians. It wants nominees for the Derbyshire Youth Forum.
The successful candidates will put their views to the council for the next two years.
The council says it is a chance for young people to have their views heard.
Big Vote
Organiser John Rogers said: "It is your voice. If you don't stand up and say what you think, no one else is going to do it for you.
"It is your chance to get actively involved. Some members of the forum went down to London and talked to Tony Blair.
"It is a real chance to make your ideas and thoughts heard."
The Big Vote elections will see young people aged 11 to 19 voting for 16 of their fellow students to become members of the forum.
Nominations for the elections close on 5 December.
