Tenants invited to join board
Council houses
Tenants will have a say in how the homes are managed
Council tenants in Derby are being invited to join the board which manages their properties.

Derby Homes, the company in charge of Derby City Council's housing stock, is looking for new tenant and leaseholder representatives.

It has a vacancy for one tenant board member from the south west of the city and another from the north east of Derby.

A new leaseholder board member is also needed from any part of the city.

The Derby Homes board says it is an opportunity to get the best for fellow tenants.

Chairman Dennis Rees said: "I would encourage any tenant to come forward because they can have a say in where the services are going.

"They will be able to influence whatever they feel needs to be done with the services for their fellow tenants.

"And it is an opportunity to make sure the voice of the tenants is heard."
