Racecourse house plans unveiled

The planned homes will overlook the starter line

Plans to build 42 luxury homes near Carlisle Racecourse have been unveiled.

Developer nd homes hopes to build the flats and houses on the site of the former stables looking out over the course's starting line.

The developer has applied to Carlisle Council for planning permission to build the "eco-friendly" homes.

The Paddock development will be a mixture of semi-detached homes, town houses and apartments - all fitted with solar panels for heating and hot water.
