Bus passengers in a Cumbrian town are to benefit from new bus services and extra journeys following a review of bus routes. The changes, which come into place on 4 April, apply to bus routes supported by Cumbria County Council.
Journeys on the 35, 36, 58, 217 and 219 will be re-timed to improve connections in Cockermouth.
There will be new services to and from the Beech Estate area of Maryport and the Windebrowe Avenue area of Keswick.
In Workington, the evening and Sunday services 46B and 50B will run to revised routes offering extra buses to and from Moreclose shops.
Details on all the changes are available from Traveline.
