Teenage passenger killed in crash
A 16-year-old girl died and three other people were seriously injured when the car they was travelling in left the road in Cumbria.

The Ford Escort, driven by an 18-year-old man from Penrith, ended up on a forested verge off the B5288 at Storch New Bridge, Greystoke.

The girl, who has not yet been named, suffered fatal injuries in the accident, on Wednesday evening.

Two men and a woman from the Penrith area, were seriously injured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police.
