Ruth and Pridie have already raised 200 |
Most fell walkers smother themselves in hi-tech, protective clothing when they take to the hills. But visitors to the Lake District fells in Cumbria are in for a shock over the next few days.
Two scantily-clad female students are walking hundreds of miles - in their underwear.
Ruth Williams, 20 and Pridie Davies, 24, are attempting to walk up all the summits above 2000ft to raise money for an Aids project in Africa.
The daring duo began their trek at the weekend and have so far collected more than 200 from fellow walkers.

The pair, from the West Country, have emergency clothing and mobile phones should weather conditions become too severe. But so far they say they have been met with nothing but wide smiles from others on the peaks.
The women raised 700 from a similar skimpy expedition to the hills of North Wales.
Student teacher Pridie, from Bath, said: "We came across one particular guy who was having his stag do at a fell pub when we appeared out of the mist.
"He was a bit confused, but nevertheless had a big smile on his face.
"We've done quite a bit of what we wanted to do, but still have to do Helvellyn, the Fairfield horseshoe, Blencathra and Sharp Edge.
"But the weather has been so good lately that people have been assuming we're doing this because of the heat. It's when they get close up to us and see the fishnet stockings that they get a bit confused."
