New plans for police headquarters

Fresh plans are to be submitted over the redevelopment of Warwickshire Police's headquarters.

Warwickshire Police Authority said it wants to update facilities at its Leek Wootton headquarters.

The plans involve building a new operational base, demolishing some buildings and turning another into offices or a residential house.

The original proposals were turned down last year but the authority said it intends to appeal against the decision.
