Peugeot workers are demonstrating outside a car dealership in Birmingham on Saturday as they fight against the closure of the Ryton site. Workers are trying to convince people not to buy Peugeot cars after the company announced the site would close next year at the cost of 2,300 jobs.
It is the second day of protests after more than 100 people gathered outside a showroom in Leamington Spa on Friday.
Jim O'Boyle, from T&GWU, said they want to get the public on side.
Business proposal
Last weekend, unions held protests in Coventry to keep pressure on the French car maker to leave the factory open.
The firm says the site is unprofitable, but the TGWU and Amicus unions say they a have plan which would save the plant.
Unions' say their business proposal would involve moving to a single production shift this summer to allow workers to leave if they wanted to.
The 206 model is made in Coventry but production will cease in the middle of next year and switch to a plant north of Paris.
