Boy, 14, given Asbo for behaviour
Damien Jacques
He faces two years detention or a fine if he breaches the order
Residents in Bulkington have been praised for reporting a 14-year-old boy who swore at neighbours, stole from them and broke into their properties.

Damien Philip Jacques, of Weston Lane, was given a two year anti-social behaviour order (Asbo) last week for harassing and intimidating behaviour.

Nuneaton magistrates granted the order after hearing the teenager, who had a ball bearing gun, also used violence.

If he breaches the order he faces a fine or up to two years detention.

'Moral courage'

Warwickshire Police have commended the actions of residents in coming forward with information.

Pc Sharon Hilton said: "I would like to thank the residents of Bulkington for being brave enough to come forward to give statements.

"This has taken a lot of strength and moral courage due to the fear of reprisals.

"I hope that having seen this success that more residents will come forward to support the police in the future and their battle against anti-social behaviour by nuisance youths."
