Teenage gang attacks firefighters
Fire crews in Coventry were attacked by a teenage gang while they dealt with a garden fire in the city.

Firefighters from the Foleshill station were pelted with stones in the incident in Wappenbury Close in the Wood End area on Sunday night.

Local community worker Steve Spreadborough has apologised to West Midlands Fire Service and condemned the attack as "appalling".

He said there have been problems with young people for some time in the area.
