Four hundred jobs will go when the main operation leaves the Browns Lane plant and moves to Castle Bromwich.

Unions have pledged to fight the move which could include the threat of strike action.

MP for Coventry North East Geoffrey Robinson says they are determined to do what they can to help.

But Ford has said there will be no debate over the decision.
