Unions at Land Rover in Solihull are to be given details of a deal which will secure production at the site. The plan aims to make the Lode Lane plant more competitive and will be unveiled to shop stewards on Tuesday.
Last week, Land Rover's parent company Ford approved a revised road map for the future.
A ballot on the deal, which includes new working conditions, is to be held among the 8,000 workforce on 20 September.
The road map was drawn up by Land Rover's own managers and unions at Ford's request.
Ford had warned that the Lode Lane plant faced closure if an acceptable rescue package was not agreed by last week.
The strategy is aimed at making Land Rover as competitive as Ford's Jaguar operations within three years, and as competitive as other global car makers within five years.
