Three test negative for swine flu

Six people in Cornwall have undergone testing for swine flu after travelling to areas affected by the virus, including the American continent.

Three have tested negative for the virus. The last three are awaiting results, Dr Neil Pollard of the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust said.

There are eight confirmed cases of the virus in the UK.

They include a 12-year-old girl at Paignton Community College in Devon, the Department of Health said.
