Village house plans are approved
Twenty new affordable homes are to be built in south east Cornwall.

The properties in Millbrook will be specifically for local people and Caradon District councillors approved the plan despite some objections.

There was concern it would lead to an increase in traffic congestion and that there are not enough local school places for the additional residents.

But Caradon's planners rejected the claims, saying there was a need for more affordable homes in Millbrook.

It said it was putting restrictions on the properties so that they could only be occupied by people with a strong local connection.
