Firefighters in west Cornwall had to help several flood-hit households after heavy rain. The fire brigade received several calls from around Penzance asking for assistance after rain started falling from about 1830 BST on Monday.
The main areas hit were: The Promenade, Alverton Road, Tolcarne Terrace, Polmear Road and the Heamoor area.
Fire crews gave general assistance to householders, including pumping out water and clearing blocked drains.
