A new safety campaign for motorcyclists and drivers in the south west of England is being launched on Monday. A series of posters and adverts called THINK! will show road users how difficult it can be to see motorbikes at busy junctions.
Seventy motorcyclists died on the region's roads in 2004 and more than 500 were seriously injured.
THINK! has the backing of Devon and Cornwall's road safety officers and traffic police.
The television advert shows an accident at a T-junction involving a car and a motorbike.
The government campaign aims to make drivers fully aware of the dangers of pulling out of busy junctions without checking for motorcyclists.
