An American film crew has captured close up high quality footage of basking sharks off the Cornish coast. The team is documenting the migration patterns of the endangered species for the Save Our Seas campaign group.
A local dive school, light aircraft owners and inshore fishermen have been providing back-up for the expedition.
The team set out from Falmouth aboard local dive boat Celtic Cat. There are four more days of filming in Cornwall before the crew head to Scotland.
