New train times come into force
Changes to train timetables in Cornwall come in to force from Sunday.

Wessex trains have introduced new times for some services on the mainline and introduced a new winter Sunday service in the west of the county.

The new service will run on the St Ives Bay line on winter Sundays , the first time for several decades that this has been on the timetable.

There will also be a new Penzance to Paignton train connecting at Plymouth to the Edinburgh train.

There will also be a new service from Bristol to Penzance on Sundays leaving at 0740, meaning passengers can travel back to Cornwall earlier than before.

Some Arriva Trains Wales services are being withdrawn and replaced by new Wessex trains running similar times.

Virgin Cross Country also has new timetables, the Glasgow to Penzance train will now be making extra stops on its way down through Devon and Cornwall.
