Firefighters in Cornwall have been damping down a blaze at one of the county's rugby clubs. Emergency services were alerted by a member of the public who reported seeing flames at Redruth Rugby Club just after 0330 BST on Friday.
Forty firefighters, together with five appliances, tackled the blaze at the club's grandstand and sports facility.
The National League Division Two club's match against Orrell at the ground on Saturday is still due to go ahead.
'Absolutely devastated'
It is not yet clear how the fire started or how much of the building is damaged.
The club's President, Derek Collins, who learnt of the fire from BBC Radio Cornwall, said he was shocked and upset at the news.
"I heard when Radio Cornwall rang me, I was absolutely devastated.

"It was completely out of the blue. "I am just completely lost for words, it's something we never envisaged."
Station Officer Graham Warren said: "I would say about a quarter of the stand has been affected and the seating has been burned away.
"The bar area has suffered quite severe fire and smoke damage."
He said the Fire Service would be launching an investigation into the cause of the blaze
"At this time we are keeping a fairly open mind," he said.
