Extra speed detectors are being deployed this weekend as thousands of people descend on the South West for the Bank Holiday. Devon and Cornwall Safety Camera Partnership says its six units will be out across the two counties.
The weekend's crackdown on speeding motorists will focus on all vehicles, including motorbikes.
The partnership says extra signs have been put up and the teams operating them will be highly visible.
In Cornwall there will be cameras on the A30 near Penzance, the A374 at Trerulefoot, the A39 past Bude and Camelford, and the A388 Callington to Saltash road.
There will also be a number of targeted locations in Devon including the A38 from the Tamar Bridge to Deep Lane.
