South West water bills are amongst the highest in the country
South West Liberal Democrat MPs are joining forces to fight the high water charges in the region.

The group believes prices, which are amongst the highest in the country, are out of control.

North Cornwall MP Dan Rogerson chaired the group which met in Parliament for the first time on Tuesday.

During the general election Liberal Democrats across the South West collected signatures petitioning in protest at the charges.

South West Water says recent increases were needed to meet the company's obligations for improved sewerage and water pipes.
