Crash families press for support
Cornwall families who have lost loved ones in road accidents are calling for a support group to be set up.

Sunday is National Roadpeace Remembrance Day, but the nearest service to Cornwall is in Devon.

Police say the number of motorcyclists killed on the region's roads have already surpassed last year's figures.

Ken Williams, of Roadpeace, said his own experience had encouraged him to support others in dealing with grief.

Mr Williams said: "My niece was killed two days before Christmas.

"Ill never forget the phone call. It sticks in your mind exactly what you were doing at the time and I'll never forget the effect it had on the family.

"You do not recover from something like that."
