Events to showcase environment
Choughs released into the wild
The Cornish chough is now breeding in the wild
Conservationists, birdwatchers and farmers are joining forces this weekend to highlight the unique environment of Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula.

The Wildlife Weekend is being staged to help people find out more about the area.

Recent conservation successes include the re-introduction of the Cornish chough, now breeding in the wild.

Stuart Croft, an RSPB volunteer, says more feedback is needed on where the birds have been spotted.

He said: "The latest update is that all six are out and about.

"If anyone on the west coast of Cornwall sees one we'd like to hear about it."

This weekend's events include Land Rover safaris with English Nature wardens.
