Farmers' market receives revamp
Lemon Quay
The stallholders have received grant aid to revamp the market
A new-look farmers' market is being unveiled to shoppers in Truro.

In common with other such venues, the Truro market has grown in popularity over the years.

But stallholders have decided to revamp their image and have received grant aid to help them purchase modern stalls and equipment.

The stalls have new covers and flaps showing traders' names and the Farmers' Market logo. Several new stallholders are also joining the market.

The mayor of Truro, Councillor Armorel Carlyon, will declare the market in Lemon Quay open on Saturday morning.

Live music will also mark the occasion.
