Woman killed on track
Pedestrian crossing at Holmbush
The train driver was treated for shock
A 24-year-old woman has been killed by a train in Cornwall.

The accident happened on Thursday afternoon at an unmanned pedestrian crossing at Holmbush, near St Austell.

Police say the woman - who has not been named but comes from the St Austell area - died instantly.

British Transport Police have launched an inquiry.

It is not yet known how the collision happened.

The train driver has been treated for shock.
