Murder police release man
Scene of the death at West Downs
Mrs Roddam's body was found in a field behind her home
A man arrested in connection with the murder of a 74-year-old woman in Cornwall has been released on police bail.

Joan Roddam was found dead at her home at West Brow, West Downs, near Delabole, on 8 November.

A 27-year-old man from North Cornwall was arrested on Monday, but a police spokesman said he had been released on police bail and must report to an undisclosed police station on 13 April.

Police said the arrest was part of the on-going investigation to find Mrs Roddam's killer and are still urging anyone with information to come forward.

Mrs Roddam's body was found in a field behind her bungalow.

A post-mortem examination showed she had died from asphyxiation and suffocation.
