Flood site
The road will be closed for several days for repairs
A burst water main has caused severe flooding to an area of Peterborough.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Westgate where 500 litres of water a second poured from the pipe.

Anglian Water officials attended the scene and the area could be closed for several days while damage to the road and other areas is repaired.

Cambridge Police said businesses in Westgate could be at risk and keyholders are being contacted to inspect their premises.
