| Vandals have desecrated the graveyard at a medieval church in Cambridgeshire. More than 30 headstones were damaged at the church of St Andrews in the village of Girton on Friday night. The extent of the damage to each headstone varies - from those simply knocked over, to those broken into pieces or ripped away from their base. Special prayers are being said on Sunday by the vicar Will Adam. Cambridgeshire Police have made an appeal for witnesses.
