Barrier collision disrupts trains
A car crash at a level crossing disrupted rail services between London and Cambridge on Monday morning.

The accident, involving one vehicle, happened at Foxton near Cambridge just before 0930 BST.

Eyewitnesses said the car hit the second barrier on the crossing as it was travelling towards Cambridge on the A10 main road.

No-one was hurt in the accident, but trains were halted before being resumed and lengthy queues of traffic built up.

An investigation has been launched by Network Rail and British Transport Police.

The line is run by the West Anglia Great Northern rail company.
