Spitfires and Hurricanes will be on display at Duxford

The aircraft will be at a Flying Legends Air Show at Duxford's Imperial War Museum in Cambridgeshire on 12 and 13 July.

Veteran pilots and crews will be present alongside the aircraft, some of which have appeared in movies and television productions such as Pearl Harbor, Poirot and Foyle's War.

The show will feature 10 Spitfires, as well as a German Junkers Ju-52.

Also present will be the world's only airworthy Bristol Blenheim and an American B-17 Flying Fortress.

"All the aircraft due to appear are piston-engined aircraft, dating mainly from the Second World War, and all are classics in their own right," said Duxford marketing manager Tracey Woods.
