Fans without tickets are warned

Swansea City fans planning to arrive without tickets for Saturday's match with Bristol City are being warned they will be turned away by police.

About 1,500 fans are expected at Ashton Gate but all will be travelling in coaches escorted to the ground.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said there would be no extra tickets on sale at the ground.

"There will be a considerable number of police on duty along with the club stewards," Ch Supt Andy Francis said.

He added: "If you have no ticket you will not gain entry to the ground or the area.

"If supporters come to the game, enjoy the match and do not get involved in trouble, this will be reflected when the teams play again.

"Fans' behaviour at this match will govern how this fixture is policed in the future. "
