Delays at airport after snow fall

Passengers are being warned of delays at Bristol International Airport on Sunday after the weekend's snow fall.

The runways was closed for an hour during the early morning to allow the snow to be cleared.

This caused some delays which will have a knock-on effect during the rest of the day.

But passengers should not be delayed for more than three hours, a spokeswoman said. Snow in Bristol was beginning to melt by mid-morning.

Aircraft also had to be de-iced on Sunday.
