New routes from budget airliner
Budget airline Ryanair has launched 12 new routes from Bristol Airport.

Destinations include Eastern European hot spots such as Bratislava, Budapest and Riga, as well as Derry, Milan and Porto.

Services to Salzburg and Turin will follow in December, with three French destinations in May. By Spring 2008, 21 new routes will be in operation.

The Stop Bristol Airport Expansion group said the flights would be bad for the environment.

A spokesman added that short international breaks takes money out of the South West economy.
