Race raises thousands for charity
Half Marathon
Thousands of pounds has been raised by the runners
Thousands of pounds were raised for charity by the 9,100 runners who took part in the 2007 Bristol Half Marathon.

Kenya's Jane Muia broke the women's record with a run of 1hr 10mins with Liz Yelling finishing in second place as the first British runner home.

Tewodros Shiferaw won the men's race in the third fastest time of 1hr 3mins. Jason Gill won the wheelchair race.

Many of the roads were closed off during the event, which is the 19th to be held in the city.
