Aardman stays local for expansion
Plans are under way to expand the offices of Oscar-winning Aardman Animations in Bristol.

The creators of Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run and Curse of the Were Rabbit, aim to build on the car park next to its base on Gasferry Road.

Co-founder Peter Lord said many similar successful companies would have chosen to move to London.

But he said he was proud that many staff had moved from the capital to Bristol to work for Aardman.
