Police say valuables left on display are an 'easy target'
Gadget enthusiasts are being warned about leaving expensive satellite navigation equipment in their vehicles.

A police spokesman said the high-value items were the 'latest craze' for criminals and drivers should remove everything when leaving their vehicles.

"This warning goes out particularly to businesses whose staff may leave the systems in their vehicles while they make a delivery or attend a meeting."

Officers also suggest drivers register valuables on the Immobilise database.
