A suspected crack house has been shut down after police and Bristol City Council applied for an Anti-Social Behaviour Order. Avon and Somerset Police, along with the council, were granted the order to close the house in Stockwood by Bristol magistrates on Friday.
The closure, on Dutton Road, marks the 30th residence in the city shut by a similar order.
A council spokesperson said: "This is another successful morning in court."
Suzanne Ponsford, the council's housing manager in Stockwood, added: "One crack house can blight the lives of a whole community and unfairly reflect on the vast majority of residents, who are law-abiding, responsible and respectful of their neighbours."
