Rovers investigated over missiles
Bristol Rovers face an investigation by the Football Association after their supporters were caught throwing objects during Saturday's game at Yeovil.

The fans were spotted throwing missiles on the pitch during the Pirates' 4-2 defeat at Huish Park.

It is the third time the club has been reported for the same offence.

Fans threw cigarette lighters on the pitch during the game against Yeovil at the Memorial Stadium, and also during a game against Oxford United.

Three fans were ejected by stewards from that game.

Rovers' safety officer, Dave Harper told BBC News: "It is very difficult, even with cameras, to catch someone throwing something.

"I urge the respectable spectators, if they know of someone doing this, to let us know."
