Bristol's main bus operator is facing another inquiry on Thursday after further complaints from the public about poor time keeping. It is the fourth time in four years that the company, First Group, has been ordered to attend such a hearing.
The inquiry has been called by the Western area traffic commissioner Philip Brown.
The latest inquiry centres around services the firm ran in the summer and complaints over late running.
Strip routes
The number of services failing to hit punctuality targets has not been revealed.
Mr Brown is holding the inquiry at his office in the Temple Quay area of Bristol.
He has the power to fine the company or strip First of some of its registered routes.
The firm is refusing to comment until after the inquiry.
In the past First Group has blamed Bristol's congestion problems for buses arriving late.
