Virus closes three hospital wards
Three wards at Bristol's Southmead Hospital have been closed to new admissions as a "last resort" to help control the spread of a virus.

The Norovirus - which causes diarrhoea and vomiting - is thought to have been brought in by visitors.

Existing patients are still being seen. The hospital says specialist infection teams are managing the situation.

Anyone with symptoms or the illness is being asked not to visit patients unless absolutely necessary.
