Campaigners hope to see Concorde fly again |
Campaigners from Bristol who are determined to see Concorde to fly again are taking a 22,000-signature petition to the prime minister. The Save Concorde group believes it is possible to keep one Concorde flying for airshows and displays.
British Airways and Airbus say it is not a viable plan.
Jenny Drake, from the group said: "This great white bird is sat in a museum doing nothing. That wasn't what it she was designed to do."
All seven British Airways Concordes are still intact, including Concorde 216 which is housed at the Concorde Museum on Filton Airfield, where the plane was built.
