Public consulted over school plan
Fairfield School
Fairfield School could expand on to the site
A consultation period has begun over controversial plans to close a school in Bristol.

St Thomas More, in the Horfield area of the city, could close in August 2005 with Fairfield Secondary School expanded on to the site.

It has less than 500 pupils, while the minimum secondary school size has been set by the city council at 810.

There is some opposition to the plans for closure and parents have until October 20 to air their views.
