Filming has started in Bristol on a new romantic comedy which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Dougray Scott and Jimi Mistry. The feature film, The Truth About Love, is going ahead thanks to more than �500,000 of lottery funding.
The money has come from the UK Film Council's new cinema fund.
The film, in which not everyone or everything is as it first appears, is also being shot at other locations in the South West.
The cast of The Truth About Love, directed by John Hay (There's Only One Jimmy Grimble) also includes Simon Webbe from the band Blue.

Paul Trijbits, head of the new cinema fund said: "The comedy genre is an arena we are always keen to explore in an inventive way.
"The fund's remit is to offer up a wide range of film narratives and innovative ways to deliver them.
"It's wonderful that such timely comedy is being made by a such a talented British director."
The film has also been given �20,000 from the film council's development fund.
The agency South West Screen has worked closely with The Truth About Love production team from the early stages.
Its chief executive Caroline Norbury said: "We provided details of local crew and supporting services to ensure that the production chose Bristol above other locations."
