Warning as dog owner is fined
The prosecution of a dog owner who failed to clear up her pet's mess, is being held up as a warning to others.

South Gloucestershire Council said the woman was caught by an off-duty dog warden in Page Park, Mangotsfield.

She was taken to court, where she admitted the offence and fined 100 and ordered to pay 450 costs.

Celine Jacobs, dog warden for South Gloucs Council, said: "We are extremely pleased with the verdict, and this should act as a warning."
